The Langley Public Library, serves an area of approximately 660 residents. It has a collection of 3,318 books and periodicals, 120 CDs, records, cassettes and other audio materials, 210 video items such as DVDs and VHS tapes, and 4 computer Internet terminals for public use. Statistics show that patrons make about 3,500 visits annually and check out materials 8,800 times; 24 percent of all checkouts are children’s materials.
